For Families
The Las Mozas apartments are great for families with children of any age.
For babies and toddlers we can supply a high chair and travel
cot. The apartment is spacious and ideal for little explorers. The
lift from the underground parking makes the moving of equipment
easy as it stops right outside the apartment’s front door! And
although this is a second floor apartment there are just a few small
steps to the gardens and pool area.
The pool is small and quiet enough to
be ideal for little ones with
supervision. There is no toddlers pool so be advised to ensure you
have flotation equipment with you. The whole complex is private and
gated offering security and
reassurance.
Older children will love the freedom that Benahavis offers.
Apart from the pool at Las Mozas which is a great size for all
ages, the public pool in town offers the chance to mix with
other children and families - both from the local area and
other holidaymakers.
Adjoining the public pool is a cafe
and a number of sports
pitches and all are free access to the public. For a small
charge (2E) there is a golf driving range located nearby too,
giving hours of fun.
Just below the Las Mozas complex is a new park ‘Parque
Torre Leonera’ area with beautiful gardens to sit and relax
in as well as a children’s play area (under 10’s). There is a
further play area for public use near the village school. Benahavis
has no nightclubs but a number of its bars and
restaurants are open until late and children and families are
welcome at all. Many are located in quiet cobbled street and
squares making it ideal for you to relax while eating.
If you want to leave the tranquil atmosphere of the village then
27km of excellent Costa Del Sol Beaches await you – most
within a 10 -15 minute drive.
Especially good for Families are;
San Pedro de Alcántara -1 km long beach and 35 m wide.
This is a busy beach and nearest to Benahavis. It has a promenade
that goes all along the beach area and has
6 beach restaurants with sun beds, one beach club with
swimming pool, and a paddle tennis court.
There is also a children's playing area on the beach, the use of
which is free.
El Faro Beach - 300 m long and 35 m wide. Located west of the Leisure Port in Marbella, this too is a busy
beach.
It has2 beach restaurants as well as children's games on the
beaches.
Venus Beach - 500 m long and 40 m wide.
Close to the Marbella Leisure Port this is a busy beach with3 beach
restaurants with sun beds, as well as children's games on the
beach .
